Today is officially our 1 day off. Hooray! Except, whatcha gonna do? Feet up and watch the TV? A short hike to keep ourselves ticking over? Do some much needed clothes washing (do my socks really contribute THAT much to climate change?)? Well, surprisingly we have no plan. We’re just going to take the day as it comes, wait and see what takes our fancy. We know there will be some walking, that’s certain. How much, we’ll find out later. There are some nice mountains nearby. Maybe we’ll go up one and see what we can see from the top. Here’s one candidate.
And finally, you think that cows are gentle creatures, right? We did until yesterday. Here’s one we met on the path. We’ll be keeping well away from cows today!
