Memory Lane, Arras

After another delightful stay in Troyes, topped off with some truly yummy ice-cream last night, were on our way to Arras.

Last time we stopped overnight in Arras, the hotel had all of the atmosphere and charm of the Bates Motel. We were lucky to escape with our lives. Strange noises in the night and we were awakened by the most blood curdling scream. Nice.

It’s understandable that we haven’t been back to the town for ages. It’s a different hotel and we hope for a better outcome this time.
