Wicked!

It took a while to get here, stopping at the ‘Red Lake ‘ for lunch. Actually it’s brown/green, but red sounds so much better from a marketing perspective.

Still at least the lunch was good.

After dropping down through a fantastic gorge we started climbing again as we entered the Carpathian mountains. We parked the Land Rovers and started our hike. It was pretty steep to start with, but after only 20 minutes we reached the col. The rest was a gentle stroll to the hostel. The views were amazing as the sun was setting. Here’s the view from our balcony. It’s wicked.

A perfect end to the day. We leave early tomorrow, going back to Reghin before heading off to the airport and home.
