Raising the roof …

Well we had another good day at the barn. There was, however, one rather dubious character who appeared on site just after lunch.

It seems that we have a team mascot.

Talking of pigs and lunch, we had a delicious goulash, a real treat. It was pork of course and very tasty. The afternoon session went well and we managed to raise the roof. Well at least the first section.

It was all going so well. We left the site and returned to the hostel where we had a marvellous lasagne for dinner and then went for a short stroll. When we got back to the hostel the gate was locked. This could have been a problem, but us intrepid DIY guys quickly resolved the problem by cutting off the padlock with a portable angle grinder that someone had thoughtfully left for us to use. The gate was rapidly opened and we retired to our beds.
