Here we go …

I’m packed and ready to go although we aren’t leaving home until after an early lunch. All of my gear is crammed into one ‘carry-on’ bag. Gloves, safety specs, work wear, industrial quality earplugs, clothing and the mandatory small clear plastic bag containing essential personal hygiene goodies such as toothpaste, shower gel and somewhat surprisingly shampoo. Well I do still have a little hair! All in containers of less than 100 ml.

The weather in Romania looks good for the week ahead, so no excuses for not cracking on.

I’m really quite nervous and excited by this project, not really having much idea of what we’ll face when we arrive. More so than the TMB. Still, another mountain to climb. Bring it on!
